HAUS Services

The Mass HIway, the Massachusetts Health Information Exchange, offers HIway Adoption and Utilization Support (HAUS) Services to assist organizations in the effective deployment of Health Information Exchange (HIE) to enhance care coordination.

The services are provided by HIway Account Managers and their assistance is fully funded by EOHHS, the Massachusetts Executive Office on Health and Human Services.

Providers don't need a Mass HIway connection to participate. The HAUS team can assist with other Health Information Exchange (HIE) implementations as well. The HIway's mission is to advance the adoption and use of HIE throughout the Commonwealth.

The HIway offers three options to receive HAUS Services as shown in the graphic below. Organizations participating in any of these options will receive HAUS Services free of charge. Please reach out to the HIway Account Management team to further explore HAUS.

Key Services

HAUS Services are provided free of charge to assist in the implementation of Health Information Exchange (HIE) to improve care coordination processes. The HIway Account Managers will enable you to incorporate or improve the use of HIE through the development of HIE Use Cases. Examples are shown in the table below.
