2018 PULSE Finale

On June 5, 2018, PULSE@MassChallenge celebrated their second year as the state’s largest digital health accelerator by awarding the top participants in their current class with over $200,000 prizes. Over 1,000 members of the region’s digital health community, including Massachusetts Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, gathered at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to honor the 32 participants in the PULSE@ MassChallenge program.

During the awards celebration, the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative affirmed its continued support of PULSE@ MassChallenge another grant of $170,000 to provide support for digital health start-ups, including mentoring, strategic partner matching, targeted education, co-working spaces, start-up accelerators, and other programming.

“We’ve invested over half a million dollars in PULSE since its inception and that investment pays off every year. We’re really excited about supporting PULSE@ MassChallenge for many years to come,” said Laurance Stuntz, director of the Massachusetts eHealth Institute at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.

PULSE@ Finale Winners:

DIAMOND | $100,000 – Leuko

The first non-invasive device for the screening of severe neutropenia.

PLATINUM | $60,000 - InsightRX

InsightRx is platform that enables data-driven healthcare with quantitative pharmacology and machine learning.

GOLD | $40,000 - Fitly

Fitly’s SmartPlate is the only patented, intelligent nutrition platform that deploys computer vision, deep learning, and proprietary image recognition techniques to help consumers and patients seamlessly track their food intake.
