eQIP BH Round I

eQIP BH Round I

The eQIP program is designed to support eligible Behavioral Health (BH) organizations in the adoption and implementation of interoperable EHRs. The program provides incentive funds and guidance to assist providers through an eHealth maturity model. By participating in this program, BH organizations can advance their use of Health IT and connect to the statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE), the Mass HIway. This will position and prepare eQIP participants for inclusion in larger state-wide eHealth community efforts.

The Behavioral Health Round I Solicitation was issued in late 2014 and MeHI awarded 18 non-profits across the Commonwealth, which will total nearly $1 million if the awardees reach each of the program milestones. The press release announcement was published in April 2015.
