The grants support the triple aim to improve the efficiency, cost and quality of health care in Massachusetts. Grant Descriptions
- The Connected Communities Implementation Grants assist organizations in demonstrating collaboration and care coordination using health technologies to address a real-world healthcare need among patients in their community.
- The eHealth eQuality Incentive Program (eQIP) Grants support Behavioral Health (BH) and LTPAC organizations to adopt EHR systems, connect to the Mass HIway, enhance care coordination and prioritize transitions of care.
- The HIway Vendor Interface Grant Program provided Health IT vendors funds for activities and items necessary to develop, test, and deploy health information exchange interfaces to the Mass HIway based on Direct standards.
- The HIway Implementation Grant Program funded collaborative projects to catalyze Health Information Exchange connections to the Mass HIway in order to improve patient care coordination and reduce costs.
