Jack is a professor within the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts where he teaches separate courses in marketing and in sales.

Wearable Sensors for Monitoring Health and Health Quality

The 2021 Federal Wearables Summit is a broad effort supported by several federal agencies and intended to bring the discussion on wearable sensors for monitoring health and health quality closer to all people. The Summit is open to the public and will address issues of interest, such as the perspectives of patients and medical care professionals, data security specialists, the regulatory bodies, and federal agencies.

Hospitals using Digital Paper signage have saved money while improving workflow efficiency and patient/clinician experience. Brigham & Women’s Hospital shares a case study on using low energy, lightweight Digital Paper virtual whiteboards to improve communication to patients in the emergency department (ED), and to understand the effect of delivering timely information about a patient’s pertinent hospital course to their satisfaction surrounding their ED stay. Attendees will learn how to apply Digital Paper solutions in clinical settings to facilitate improved information exchange.
