MS in Health Informatics and Management: Informatics Concentration

UMass Lowell's Master of Science Degree in Health Informatics and Management is a 12-course master's degree program designed to prepare health care management and health informatics professionals with knowledge and expertise that is essential to the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health services, and critical in the design, analysis and evaluation of public health and private sector health systems. Students may wish to concentrate their graduate degree on the effect that massive amounts of data has on public health policy and health care delivery. Coursework in this concentration emphasizes information management and the ways in which health and computer sciences are coupled with information resources and integrated into the management of health care data for clinical, financial or analytical purposes.
 

Certificate Program in Health Informatics

UMass Lowell's Online Graduate Certificate Program in Health Informatics is intended for individuals with a background in health care who wish to apply current computer technology to the management of health care data through the secure collection and maintenance of personal health data.
