RFP for Connected Communities Advisory Services

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech), on behalf of the Massachusetts eHealth Institute, is issuing this Request for Proposals for Connected Communities Advisory Services (RFP No. 2014-MeHI-05) to solicit responses from qualified contractors who can advise MassTech in its development and implementation of a program to engage various stakeholders in shared, coordinated approaches to expand the adoption of electronic health records (EHR), health information exchanges and other health information technologies (HIE), to enable broader “eHealth” services in the Commonwealth. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit Respondents that will help MeHI accomplished the following:

  • Advance complete implementation of EHRs in all provider settings
  • Advance the networking of EHRs through the statewide HIE (also known as the HIway)
  • Support full and effective use of these technologies by providers in each of fifteen previously designated “Connected Communities.” See the RFP for a list of Communities.
