CEHRT and Meaningful Use

Primary care providers need to Adopt, Implement, or Upgrade to Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT). They also need to demonstrate the Meaningful Use of CEHRT, and report Public Health Measures. Not meeting these standards will result in penalties applied to your Medicare Part B reimbursements.

Medicaid EHR Incentive Program and Meaningful Use Support

To offset the acquisition and implementation cost of CEHRT and Meaningful Use, Eligible Professionals can apply for incentives from the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program

MeHI's eHealth Sevices Center can advise you in completing the CEHRT and Meaningful Use requirements.

MeHI offers a solution to assess your practice’s privacy and security status, develop remediation plans, communicate resolutions to providers, and track remediation progress. The solution addresses the MU requirements.

MeHI provides a solution to assess and improve your patient engagement strategy, track progress, and measure success. This solution addresses the applicable Meaningful Use requirements.

Mass HIway Webinars

Meaningful Use requires the use of an electronic Health Information Exchange (HIE). For this purpose, providers can connect to the statewide HIE, the Mass HIway. To learn more, review:

Primary Care providers need to report quality measures to CMS' Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). The requirement comes with penalties and payment adjustments applied to your Medicare Part B reimbursements.

MeHI can assist in reporting your quality measures via our PQRS Registry, which will avoid the penalties.
