CVS Caremark MinuteClinic (CVSMC), which operates 47 walk-in clinics in Massachusetts, and provides treatment for common family illnesses and injuries, administers vaccinations and offers other services, is collaborating with UMass Memorial Health Care (UMMHC) on a Mass HIway Implementation Grant that aims to share patient data electronically between the two organizations. The collaboration is designed to enhance patient care, lower overall costs and assist UMMHC in its migration toward value-based care.
